Janett Strachan

Janett Strachan is a Service Coordinator whose goal is to provide assistance, support and ease navigating services for families caring for a child diagnosed with a developmental disability/autism spectrum disorder.

Janett is passionate and very dedicated to serving families and has worked in the developmental sector for 31+ years.

Janett has served on many community tables and worked closely with the Ministry. She has expertise in the area of respite and funding options as well as community resources. Janett also has served as a strong advocate for families-identifying barriers to accessing services and highlighting to community tables the lack of resources.

Janett, when not working, enjoys spending time with her family and toy poodle - Theo. Janett also enjoys long walks on cool days (not fond of heat) and sewing…expressing her creative side.
